Award-winning American rapper Kendrick Lamar has recently announced his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City World Tour to South Africa. The 26-year-old booked three shows to perform in November 2013 in South Africa. However, headline sponsor of the Lamar tour, Miller Genuine Draft announced that Lamar was no longer going to perform in South Africa later this year as scheduled.

Fans do not need to fret as the self-professed ‘King of New York’ has rescheduled his tour to SA next year in February and March 2014. Lamar postponed his tour when he agreed to accompany Kanye West on his Yeezus tour, which unfortunately coincided with the South African tour.

Miller Genuine Draft has apologised for any inconvenience and fans that have purchased their ticket can either get a full refund, or exchange their ticket at Computicket for the new concert dates next year.

Lamar is best known for smashing hits ‘Swimming Pools (Drank)’, ‘HiiiPoWeR’, ‘Bitch, Please Don’t Kill My Vibe’ and ‘Poetic Justice’ from his two successful albums.

Miller BOOMTOWN concert ticket prices range from R350 – R650.

28 February 2014 - Durban, Wave House.

1 March 2014 - Johannesburg, Johannesburg Stadium.

2 March 2014 – Cape Town, Bellville Velodrome.

Tickets are available at www.computicket.com, the Computicket call centre (0861 915 800) and at any Computicket outlet in Checkers and Shoprite branches. Golden tickets cost R650 and General Access tickets sell at R350. VIP Hospitality tickets will also be available for R1900 each.
