Before you get too excited, no… Drake’s third studio album has still not been released. Nothing Was The Same is officially set to be released on the 24th of September 2013.

The 26-year-old Canadian heartthrob has also announced his opening act for his tour ‘Would You Like a Tour?’, which includes rapper Future and musician Miguel.

Drake is fucking talented as he is prominently known as a rapper but is also a singer/songwriter and actor. Drake was recently spotted filming a cameo appearance in the blockbuster comedy Anchorman: The Legend Continues.

It will be interesting to see if Drake’s album will do as well as those of his comrades like J. Cole, Wale, Kanye West and others. Drizzy released four tracks to fans but confirmed that they will not feature on Nothing Was The Same.

Songs he has released so far are:

  • Hold On We’re Going Home

  • 5AM in Toronto

  • Girls Love Beyoncé

  • All Me

  • Started From The Bottom

  • Jodeci Freestyle

He has spoken about one of his upcoming tracks. This one is titled ‘Connect’. Describing it, Drizzy said, “That one hits you in the heart. It’s painful and beautiful at the same time.” Given Drake’s deep yet catchy lyrics, this comes as no surprise.

He hasn’t released the official track list yet but if you’re a Drake fan, you’ll trust that whatever he’s hiding up his sleeve will be brilliant.

A few of Drake’s NWTS collaborators have been confirmed: Jay Z, who collaborated with him in 2010 on his track ‘Light Up’, which was a huge success. Lil Wayne will be dedicating his services as usual.

I don’t know about you but I cannot wait to go buy this album. Stay tuned!
