Halcyon Days is the brand new album from English singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding. This will be a re-issue album and the follow-up to her second studio album Halcyon, which was released in 2012.

Halcyon Days was released on the 23rd of August this year. ‘Burn’ was released as the lead single in July and received mixed reviews from music critics. The album includes ten unreleased songs, including her cover version of Alt-J’s ‘Tessellate’. Her new song ‘You, My Everything’ was the soundtrack to the British TV series SKINS.

Ellie has also collaborated with various artists such as British producer DJ Fresh and French producer Madeon. A cover version of Midnight Star’s 1986 hit song ‘Midas Touch’ was produced by English DJ Burns.

Goulding told the Huffington Post, “I lost my love affair with guitar whilst I was writing and recording this album, although saying that now, I think it’s come back since I’ve released it.”

Growing up, Ellie believed she lack the talent to pursue a career in music. We hope that her newest achievement has convinced her otherwise.
