It seems like the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) gods are smiling down on us!

 

Electric Music is one of South Africa’s biggest promotional powerhouses. They are behind Summer’s biggest parties that include international artists like Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Avicii, Steve Aoki and Deadmau5, to name but a few. Last week, they announced their plans: the I AM HARDWELL World Tour is heading to South Africa.

 

Get ready for an amazing journey into the mind of an electro house superstar, from artwork to visuals to his very own take on EDM. Fresh after performing at some of the world’s biggest music events, like the Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland in Belgium, Hardwell is coming to South Africa with three performances scheduled in December. The Dutch sensation promises to provide multiple ‘eargasms’. He is known as ‘Mister Spaceman’ for his hit single ‘Spaceman’ and is ready to induce a state of euphoria like no other!

 

So for all you EDM lovers out there, this is surely an event you simply cannot miss.

 

Alongside Hardwell is his opening act Dannic, a DJ/Producer mash-up maestro from Breda, Netherlands - the same hometown as Hardwell and other DJ mega-stars Tiësto and Funkerman (something in the Dutch air, perhaps?).Dannic is known for his series of amazing mash-ups like ‘My Feelings for Hells Bells (Dannic MashUp)’ and ‘Feel So Close 2 Unite Us (Dannic Bootleg)’. These tracks continue to be a staple in the sets of EDM DJs like Hardwell himself, Bingo Players, Tiësto, Nicky Romero and Avicii.

In Durban: Thursday, 5 December 2013 at Wavehouse.

 

In Cape Town: Friday, 6 December 2013 at Bellville Velodrome.

 

In Johannesburg: Saturday, 7 December at H2O, Wild Waters
